Books Like 50 Shades

The New York Times Best Selling series “50 Shades of Grey” has made the romance/erotica genre skyrocket and has everyone wanting more books like “Fifty”. I have heard many different things that people liked and disliked about the series. Some people prefer more of a story and others liked the naughtiness so I have composed a list to help out. I have read most of these and have added the publishers’ descriptions along with my personal opinion.

1. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire (This is my favorite so far. It has a very emotional story line and not so much “naughtiness”.)

Abby is a good girl but has a past. Her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. 2. Sweet Addiction by Maya Banks (Very naughty, even naughtier than Fifty)

Cole is successful beyond his dreams. He can have any woman he wants, but there's only one he can't stop thinking about: his childhood sweetheart, Renita--and the pain he brought upon her.

3. Bared to You (#1) Reflected in You (#2) by Sylvia Day (Exactly like Fifty)

4. Gabriel’s Inferno (#1) Gabriel’s Rapture (#2) by Sylvain Reynard (Very Dark)

5. The Principal’s Office by Jasmine Haynes (Spicy, Funny and Scary)

Rachel Delaney, divorced mother with two boys, isn't complaining. Her life is fine. Really. There is one thing that could make it better, though: a strong, warm, male body to help her through the occasional lonely night. No strings, and no relationship, thanks. Just a little fun with a perfect stranger. She meets Rand who is unattached, smokin' hot, and looking for the same thing Rachel is: wild, abandoned sex with no limits, no last names, and no complications-until Rachel's eldest son gets in trouble in class.

Only then does Rachel discover that her down-and-dirty, dangerously sexy mystery lover is also the new school principal.

6. Never Enough by Lauren Dane (Absolutely a wonderful story along with lots of naughtiness)

7. Pleasures of the Night by Sylvia Day (Another amazing love story with some spice)
