Nicholas Sparks is back with his new book The Best of Me. In this romantic novel, two high school students, Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole, fall in love with each other. Amanda Collier comes from one of the wealthiest families in Oriental, North Carolina. Dawson Cole, on the other hand, comes from a family full of misfits and troublemakers.  The two unite and fall into an unlikely romantic relationship that many of their family and friends disapprove of. They decide to go their separate ways and then twenty years later, the two reunite after all these years. The passion and fire still bubbles over and Amanda and Dawson both know that their love for each other is strong as ever. Will the two get back together? Only time will tell.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book because despite what other people thought about their relationship, Amanda and Dawson did not care what other people said about them.  Nicholas Sparks, once again, delivers a truly awesome love story.
